Fleet

We currently have a modern and extensive fleet of vehicles (tractors, rigids and tankers) from the best manufacturers. All vehicles are equipped to establish permanent communication between carriers and staff and thus be able to make known at all times the development and possible incidents of a service.

In addition, they are equipped with the maximum safety measures and devices required by ADR and by our clients. TRANSPORTES SALAS SIMÓ has a fleet of more than 100 vehicles. Our fleet is constantly being renewed. We apply the necessary technological innovations to make it one of the most modern and safest.

At TRANSPORTES SALAS SIMÓ, training and awareness are essential for good performance in health and safety, the environment, quality, protection and CSR. To this end, the Safety and Environment education and training plan for all staff is established annually.
All of this improves the quality of operating processes and customer service, while optimizing synergies between internal departments.
Thus we have managed to orient ourselves even more towards the client and the market.

CSS training plans
Salas Simó has developed a CSS training program on driving and safe loading and unloading. The CSS program (Conduct on Safety or Safety Based on Behaviors) achieves, by positively influencing drivers' behavior through observation, preparation and communication, an increase in safety during road transport, as well as as in loading and unloading operations. An individual monitoring and follow-up system is carried out for drivers throughout the year for their evaluation, with special emphasis on safety and risk prevention

Practical driving courses
Periodically, Salas Simo drivers carry out practical circuit courses with professional driving instructors and experts in avoidance manoeuvres, accident prevention and anti-rollovers.
